Position description

The Department of Philosophy at UC Santa Barbara invites applications for a tenure track position in Epistemology at the Assistant Professor level. The position will remain open until filled. Qualifications
Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

Applicants should minimally have advanced to candidacy for a doctoral degree in Philosophy or a closely related field at the time of application.

Additional qualifications (required at time of start)

Applicants should have completed all requirements for a doctoral degree in Philosophy or a closely related field before starting the position.

Preferred qualifications

Applicants should have completed all requirements for doctoral degree in Philosophy or a closely related field before the Fall 2025 quarter.
