JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Continuing Education Department of Penn State Berks invites applications for a part-time lecturer appointment in the Organizational Leadership Program.

Job Duties
  • The part-time lecturer will teach a three-credit, undergraduate-level course.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A master's degree in a related field is required.
  • In addition, the successful candidate must either have demonstrated a commitment to building an inclusive, equitable, and diverse campus community, or describe one or more ways they would envision doing so, given the opportunity.

The start date for the appointment is January 2025. The appointment is a one semester, non-tenure track appointment with the possibility of reappointment. Part-time lecturers normally teach one section.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
