Overview

The Transition Planner implements and executes project activities on a transition project at the direction of more senior staff. When there is no Project Coordinator assigned to the project, the Transition Planner is responsible for performing all tasks associated.



Responsibilities

    Assist with a variety of project meeting needs, such as preparing minutes, agendas and action items
  • Participate in client operational interviews
  • Provide support for scheduling sessions and follow up activities
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of contract deliverables to clients
  • Assist in the implementation of the Furniture, Fixture and Equipment plan
  • Conduct existing furniture and equipment inventories
  • Coordinate move activities with vendors and owner representatives
  • Compile charts, graphs and data for project reporting
  • Provide move coordination, labeling, move tagging and other move-related activities

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

  • BS or MS degree in logistics or related field
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel Powerpoint, Project and Visio)
  • Knowledge of scheduling software, CADD, Visio, advanced Excel, Bluebeam, Procore and Smartsheet desirable
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic construction knowledge
  • Ability to travel and flexibility to work evenings and weekends as necessary
