Release Train Engineer and Release Manager

The Opportunity:

As a Release Train Engineer and Release Manager, you manage engineering support for all the processes and activities of agile software development. You're passionate about outcomes and supporting development teams working on critical IC projects. You know the importance of Agile best practices and how to combat challenges early to get work done.

You'll work with the Software and DevSecOps teams and Chief Architect to plan releases, including increment planning, road mapping, user stories, prioritizing backlog, estimating, validating finished features, such as smoke tests, and multiple client engagements. On our team, you'll apply extensive technical expertise in software and DevSecOps to ensure program success, coaching the team to their highest performance level.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience in Software Development or DevSecOps

  • 2+ years of experience leading Scrum, Agile, or SAFe teams

  • 2+ years of experience interacting with clients

  • Experience coordinating product development activities across the program or project, and developing requirements or user stories

  • Experience evaluating Feature Readiness, Sprint Reviews, and Demos

  • Experience managing and maintaining a Program Increment backlog

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • HS diploma or GED

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,100.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
