Genesis10 is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX, and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Responsible for development and execution of testing strategies utilizing the Agile software deliverable methodology Work with Development and other internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, identify risks and ensure defects are resolved Ensures adherence to defined testing quality standards and automation Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline 3+ years of work experience in an Agile environment 5+ years of hands-on experience in Testing Automation projects 5+ years hands-on experience in reviewing requirements and project documentation to understand the application and perform automation feasibility analysis 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, maintaining and analyzing automated test scripts 5+ years of hands-on experience executing automation scripts, preparing execution reports and defect logs 5+ years of hands-on experience creating project deliverables including automation and functional test plans, automation estimation, test reports and automation dashboards Experience (5+ years) using Quality Center/AML experience Work history of participating in daily agile routines and estimation of stories with minimal direction Quality Assurance Consultant who is able work in microservices architecture platform Independent worker with strong troubleshooting skills Strong communication skills (oral and written) to document/communicate issues affecting Automation results Ability to organize and manage multiple competing tasks and priorities Experience with version control using Git Bitbucket Experience in DevOps continuous delivery and continuous integration Strong experience using Cucumber and BDD processes Strong experience creating Feature Files and Step Definitions Agile tools (Bitbucket) Agile tools (Jenkins) Agile tools (Jira) Familiar with micro service architecture and principles of 12 factor app Expert in creating test scripts Expert in executing test scripts manually or through automation scripts Expert in Mule 4 Practical experience with performance tuning Able to identify a memory leak, connection leak Understanding of memory dump, thread dump, query plans Jenkins and GIT/Bitbucket Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
