As a Case Manager, you will oversee care management, case management, and utilization review for behavioral health and substance abuse services. This includes authorizing services, conducting concurrent reviews, and ensuring members receive the appropriate level of care. Additionally, the role provides care management by reviewing and evaluating both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health treatments to determine medical necessity, emergency status, and quality of care.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Travel independently for home visits, school, office visits, or other necessary facilities
  • Schedule psychiatric and PCP appointments to maintain compliance with standards
  • Coordinate services within and outside the clinic (counseling, medication management, welfare, vocational services
  • Implement and follow intervention plans written by a therapist
  • Participate in monthly observations and weekly supervision with MHP Supervisor

Required Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Experience with case management or other work in mental health care
  • Access to reliable transportation, as well as a valid driver's license



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's or master's degree in psychology, counseling, or related field
  • Experience with clients that present with various issues; substance abuse, domestic violence, trauma recovery, anxiety, depression, relationship problems with family or significant others, stress management, homelessness, and/or lack of resources
