As the Indirect Sourcing Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the organization's success through expert negotiation and strategic management of indirect spend across various categories, including IT (software and hardware), professional services, marketing, facilities, and more. Your responsibilities will include creating value across all areas of indirect procurement by leveraging your deep industry knowledge. You will lead initiatives to achieve substantial year-over-year savings, ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and foster strong, collaborative supplier relationships. This is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Global Sourcing team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Develop and implement comprehensive category management strategies to drive value creation across all indirect spend categories, including IT, professional services, facilities, and other indirect products and services.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure category strategies align with broader organizational objectives.
  • Leverage market intelligence, benchmarking, and industry trends to proactively identify opportunities for improvement and optimize sourcing decisions across various indirect categories.
  • Lead the development of enterprise-wide sourcing strategies across indirect spend categories, utilizing sourcing tactics such as RFP/RFI/RFQ processes, E-auctions, and benchmarking to negotiate competitive contracts and achieve savings targets.
  • Incorporate industry best practices and emerging trends to continuously enhance and refine sourcing strategies for all indirect categories.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential suppliers across all indirect categories, assess their capabilities, and ensure alignment with organizational needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that sourcing strategies are well-integrated with business objectives and requirements across departments.
  • Demonstrate expert negotiation skills in managing contracts with suppliers across all indirect categories.
  • Lead contract negotiations to secure agreements that are cost-effective, favorable, and compliant with legal and regulatory standards across the indirect spend landscape.
  • Monitor contract performance to address issues proactively and continuously identify areas for improvement in supplier relationships and contract terms.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to evaluate supplier performance against key KPIs and SLAs, ensuring accountability and alignment with expectations across indirect categories.
  • Effectively manage risks associated with supplier relationships, ensuring business continuity and compliance for all indirect categories.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, development, and knowledge sharing in indirect sourcing.
  • Contribute to building a high-performing team through effective communication, collaboration, and leadership in all indirect sourcing initiatives.


  • 7+ years of experience in indirect sourcing across multiple categories, including IT, professional services, marketing, and facilities.
  • 5+ years of experience managing senior-level relationships with top-tier vendors across various indirect spend categories.
  • Experience leading large-scale indirect optimization initiatives, driving efficiencies, and achieving significant cost reductions.
  • Proven track record of achieving year-over-year savings through expertise in contract negotiations and delivering measurable, valuable results aligned with organizational KPIs.
  • Strong understanding of data analytics with the ability to leverage data-driven insights for informed decision-making in sourcing strategies.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with emerging trends and technologies across indirect spend categories, with the ability to anticipate and address potential sourcing challenges.

This job operates in a professional office environment as well as remotely. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or hazardous material when in our warehouse facilities.
