Focused commercial industries include manufacturing & distribution, food & beverage (F&B)/consumer packaged goods (CPG), construction, business & industrial services, and private equity. Your role.

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Align private equity sponsor goals with portfolio growth objectives through innovative technology solutions and services.
  • Serve as an unbiased advisor and project manager, leading strategic technology projects for digital solutions such as ERP, CRM, WMS, e-commerce, and more across diverse commercial industries.
  • Conduct comprehensive business systems assessments to develop options analysis and detailed roadmaps for achieving technology and business goals.
  • Advise on digital transformation initiatives, managing solution evaluations, procurement projects, and guiding change management and implementation support activities.
  • Master Plante Moran's proprietary methodologies and tools, contributing to continuous improvement efforts of internal assets.
  • Develop subject matter expertise in enterprise software selection and implementation project management across various commercial industries.
  • Mentor project teams and develop talent through effective project management and thoughtful performance feedback.
  • Gain deep understanding of key industrial market segments, such as manufacturing and distribution, by analyzing business processes, challenges, and trends.
  • Showcase passion for industry and technology through research, thought leadership, and professional networking.
  • Support business development activities including networking, developing proposals, defining project scope and workplans, and participating in presentations to prospective clients.
  • Guide and mentor project teams comprised of 2-4 consultants through successful project delivery.
  • Manage client project economics, including resource management, invoicing, issue resolution, and relationship management.

The qualifications.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Business, Finance, or related field is required.
  • 6+ years of recent business technology experience, including but not limited to project management, technology implementation, and experience in manufacturing, distribution, and/or industrial business services.
  • Preference toward prior experience working with private equity.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage a diverse audience, from technical professionals to C-level executives.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client projects and practice activities efficiently.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to travel based on client and project demands.

Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) Information

Compensation is commensurate with technical skills and experience and is provided in accordance with the CO Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.

Compensation information posted is based on a position being located in the state of CO. Please review position location for applicable geographic location.

Colorado monthly base range is as follows:

$9,166.66 to $10,833.33
We are pleased to offer eligible staff a robust benefits package. Eligibility and contribution requirements for some of these benefits vary based on the number of hours staff work per week. Highlights include health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance. These standard offerings are effective on the first of the month following your start date. In addition to this, eligible staff are able to take advantage of our Flexible Time Off and various pre-determined holidays as well as a balance fund, 401(k) plan, flexible benefits plans, business-related travel expense, lodging and meal reimbursement for business-related use. A Pension plan is also available for eligible administrative and paraprofessional staff. A discretionary bonus plan is available for eligible staff. Plante Moran also offers Interns and Contractors the option to elect health insurance under our contingent staff medical plan as of the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment in addition to limited paid time sick time. Seasonal staff are not eligible for benefits.
