Description This is a full time 12 hour night shift schedule 1845-0715, at our Scripps Green Hospital in Torrey Pines. No call during the week or weekends except for holiday rotation. The ideal candidate for the position will have 1 or more years of OR experience, including, but not limited to Ortho, General, Urology, Vascular and Spine. This is a busy and fast-paced environment which requires teamwork and cooperation to provide the highest level of patient care. Provides direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care. Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing Preferred Qualifications: 2 + years surgery experience preferred Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
