Our INVISTA Orange, TX facility is seeking entrepreneurial, innovative leaders to join our team as Maintenance Supervisor.

Our Team

Join INVISTA as a Maintenance Supervisor as we are looking for a motivated person interested in leading our maintenance team. This role will apply strong principled entrepreneurship and economic thinking to achieve additional value creation in this capability. You will have a span of control of 10-15 direct employees. This individual will have a high level of ownership with a focus on capability growth within your team to directly impact asset availability and reliability.

What You Will Do

* Guide maintenance organization to identify and capture improvement opportunities during unit outage execution and execution of precision maintenance
* Lead the expansion of the INVISTA maintenance capabilities to improve annual maintenance spend and reduce contractor cost
* Lead the team in the development and attainment of key measures that demonstrate progress towards the site vision and annual bets
* Responsible for individual performance management
* Development of annual training plans
* Ability to partner with site leadership and other work groups to establish priorities, drive initiatives, and deliver results with a strong sense of urgency
* Enable the team to take ownership of the precision maintenance workflow while utilizing good economic thinking

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

* 5+ years of maintenance supervisory experience within the chemical, oil and gas or manufacturing industry
* Understanding of precision maintenance
* Experience driving reliability programs
* Ability to lead Root Cause investigations and implement solutions
* This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship

What Will Put You Ahead

* 7+ years of refining/process industry experience
* Bachelor's degree such as Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
* Direct supervisory/leadership experience in troubleshooting and monitoring various electrical, mechanical, or rotating equipment
* Knowledge of PSM elements
