The Opportunity:

As a communications professional, you know how to inform and engage key audiences and help promote an organization's desired reputation. We're looking for an experienced communications specialist like you, who is ready to share your knowledge and willing to win for the client and live our mission every day. Here, you'll use your consulting skills and experience to design, develop, produce, and consult on a variety of internal and external communication materials and media that support the space and defense community.

As a communications specialist/photojournalist on our team, you'll develop creative solutions to complex problems. Your self-guided yet collaborative spirit will shape and nurture relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients to develop messages for the workforce, leadership, and the public.

You will develop communication plans and strategies, take photos and videos, and author news articles, web content, and social media content that reach extensive audiences. Your creative-thinking and business-oriented mindset will guide your client to inform key audiences through words, images, and sound.

You Have:

  • 6+ years of experience with creating written communication products
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite products
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail
  • Ability to interact professionally with senior government leaders
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications or Journalism

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with photography and videography
  • Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
