Rabobank is a bank that works for its customers and members. We are one of the largest financial institutions in the world, but we're still very involved at the local level. Our goal is to help customers achieve their goals. In addition, we aim to make a substantial contribution to the well-being and prosperity of people in the Netherlands and to a sustainable global food supply.

Each generation faces its own unique challenges – big and small. And in every era, people have joined forces in search of solutions to these diverse issues. Rabobank has been doing this for almost 125 years. It started with inventive farmers: what they could not do on their own, they were able to achieve together. This farmers’ cooperative turned into a bank, which today is embedded in society thanks to its members.
The future is cooperative
We have worked in the same way since our foundation: together, as a cooperative. And we will continue to do so, because the future, too, is cooperative. Making our lives and businesses more sustainable is the number one challenge of our time. That is why we help strengthen communities and make the local living environment across the Netherlands greener.

We also invest part of our profits in society – sometimes in your neighborhood, sometimes further afield, for example by helping African farmers. In this way we support and learn from each other.
