AI Program Manager

Job Summary:

The AI Program Manager is responsible for driving coordination, tracking, and governance of all AI initiatives across the enterprise. This role ensures timely delivery, stakeholder alignment, and measurable outcomes for CareSource's AI strategy and roadmap. This role will become the single-entry point into and often out of the AI Program which will require them to communicate with executives and senior leadership regularly. They will also have day to day team operational responsibilities ensuring that all the different roles in the team are working cohesively.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage the AI initiative portfolio, tracking timelines, risks, dependencies, and value realization
  • Lead program interface with governance including use case intake, committee coordination, and compliance reporting
  • Serve as the key point of contact for AI efforts across business, architecture, security, and data teams
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops, impact reviews, and sprint planning for in-flight initiatives
  • Maintain executive dashboards and program artifacts for senior leadership
  • Support annual planning, funding alignment, and capability roadmap refinement for the AI Practice
  • Perform any other job duties as requested

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
  • Six (6) years of program or portfolio management in IT, data, or innovation environments
  • Experience delivering AI/ML or analytics projects across a matrixed organization

Competencies, Knowledge, and Skills:

  • Skilled in project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, PowerPoint, Jira) and cross-functional facilitation
  • Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across different levels, from business leaders to IT engineers
  • Expertise in identifying dependencies among various IT teams and systems
  • Comprehensive understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and the interdependencies between them
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Effective problem-solving abilities and the capability to work independently

Licensure and Certification:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or PgMP preferred
  • Certified AI Product Manager preferred
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) preferred

Working Conditions:

  • General office environment with the potential requirement for extended periods of sitting or standing
  • Occasional travel may be required to meet with stakeholders and development teams

Compensation Range:
$110,800.00 - $193,800.00 CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate's education, training, and experience as well as the position's scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
